Coastal Meadows –

Next to ‘Coastal Wood’ is an unique camping experience and enjoy this beautiful corner of Wales, overlooking the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. This award winning campsite is run by COASTAL MEADOWS (www.coastalmeadows.co.uk).

‘Coastal Meadows’ camping pitches are very limited. The eight spacious pitches are Bluebell, Bracken, Buttercup, Dandelion, Clover, Foxglove, Fern and Elderflower – each with their own private facilities (hot shower, basin and flushing toilet). Your own – not shared!

Each pitch has their own large dedicated area of meadow just for you, which can cater for any size of tent. Fern, Elderflower and Foxglove can also accommodate small camper vans (VW size). All pitches are pet friendly.

With each pitch, there will be your very own picnic bench, a large canvas shelter (with shelving unit), water carrier, washing up bowl, chopping board, lockable box with axe and an open fire pit. The canvas shelter is large enough to be utilised as an undercover / shaded area for the picnic bench, perfect for ‘all weather’ outdoor dining. You can light a real camp fire, watch the flames dance, gaze at the amazing stars and just enjoy being outdoors. Logs and kindling are sold on site.

Bluebell and Bracken are in the ‘middle meadow’. Buttercup and Dandelion are in the ‘side meadow’. Clover, Foxglove, Fern and Elderflower are in the ‘upper meadow’. So no more than four pitches in one field!  The pitches are set in large meadows amongst lovely wildflowers and high grasses. Your pitch has beautiful views, surrounded by fields and woodland.

The two shower blocks (or lovingly known as ‘the cabin’ and the ‘the barn’) are close to hand and houses  the private facilities for each pitch. The cabin is close to Bluebell, Bracken, Buttercup and Dandelion. The Barn is close to Fern, Foxglove, Clover and Elderflower. There are also dedicated freezer shelves, communal washing up sinks and charging points.

All our campers have full access to ‘The Old Wood Store’, play area and laundry facilities (small charge for use).

Please note: One tent = one pitch. Two tents = two pitches etc. Some pitches have interlinking pathways. We aim to be a quiet family site so no groups (more than two pitches).

The ‘lead camper’ must be a member of the Greener Camping Club.  You can join ‘The Greener Camping Club’ at Coastal Wood for only £10.

PRICES (EXCEPT SCHOOL HOLIDAYS)

There is a minimum of two night stay and maximum of nine nights (longer stays by prior arrangement). Cost for per pitch per night is £15 for the lead camper (midweek) or £20 (weekends) , plus an additional £10 per adult (16+ years) and £7.50 per child (5 to 15 years) per night. Children 4 years old and under are free. Maximum of six people per pitch. Dogs are £2 each.

PRICES FOR MAY HALF TERM AND SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

Seven nights stay. Cost per pitch is £395 for up to two adults and up to three children (additional children by prior arrangement).

The ‘lead camper’ must be a member of the Greener Camping Club. You can join ‘The Greener Camping Club’ at Coastal Meadows for only £10.
