Keepers Cottage – Sleeps 4
A lovely two bedroom cottage with wonderful original hand crafted beams and views overlooking the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
Friday Changeover . Keepers Cottage is a two bedroomed stone cottage set between ‘The Nook’ and ‘the Granary Barn’. The working horses used to be fed and housed in this section of the stone range, which is now lovingly converted into a two storey cottage.
When you enter Keepers Cottage, the snug is ahead of you, the wet room to your left and the kitchen / dining room to your right.
The kitchen and dining room is open plan, giving a spacious and relaxing area to talk, cook or just unwind over a glass of wine. There is also an additional sofa to relax in whilst reading the morning paper or waiting for dinner to be served!
The fully equipped kitchen has a LPG cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave oven. The window to the front overlooks the courtyard, with further views of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
The separate snug is a favourite for those who wish to cuddle up or ‘cwtch’ as we say it here in Wales. A perfect little hideaway to unwind in, with the window overlooking the field to the rear.
Keepers Cottage has a flat screen LCD TV, with freeview channels, DVD player, DAB radio and free wifi access.
The wet room, basin and toilet are downstairs.
Upstairs in the main bedroom, the beams have been beautifully preserved. The large wooden dowels and craftsmanship is on show. Despite the low beams, the bedroom has a kingsize bed with orthopaedic mattress, Egyptian cotton bed linen and cosy throws.
The twin bedroom has two adult single beds, with our quality Egyptian cotton bed linen. Again, the handmade beams and dowels are on show taking you back to the bygone years.
Outside, a wooden table and chairs, with large parasol means you can enjoy the tranquility of the area and listen to the birdsong at any time of the day.
